Smoked Salmon with Fried Egg and Home Fries

If you want comfort...


  • 2 slices smoked salmon
  • 1 tblsp horseradish sauce
  • 1 egg
  • 1 potato
  • 1 spring onion (sliced)
  • lemon juice
  • parsley to garnish


  1. For the Home Fries:
  2. Peel your potatoes and boil.
  3. Slice or quarter potatoes.
  4. Put oil in a hot pan and add your potatoes.
  5. For the Salmon Slices:
  6. Drizzle a small amount of oil on a roasting plate or dish and lay salmon on it.
  7. Rub the salmon with horseradish sauce.
  8. Add a small squeeze of lemon before putting under grill for 1½-2 minutes.
  9. For the Fried Egg:
  10. Fry your egg with oil on a medium hot pan.
  11. Season your pan of potatoes and add a sprinkling of spring onion.
  12. Plate the potatoes and lay the salmon slices over.
  13. Place your fried egg on top and a sprig of coriander.
