The Cake Cafe has opened a sister restaurant, Slice, in Stonybatter, Dublin 7.
The much-adored cafe on Pleasant Place, just off Camden Street, has become a must-visit destination for foodie fans, and Stonybatter seems to be a perfect fit to expand its empire!
Slice serves breakfast, lunch and dinner using ingredients from small local suppliers.
The breakfast menu will include baked eggs and bacon (a Cake Cafe stalwart), raw muesli, as well as cold press juices and top-notch 3FE coffee. At weekends, an all day brunch will be followed by a more substantial evening menu, with cocktails and wines.
Late night dinner will run Thursdays to Sundays from 6pm, with four simple dishes changing daily. There will be a revolving cocktail list, craft beers and old world wines.
There are also plenty of non-alcoholic options including organic cola, homemade lemonade, Arnold Palmer and locally made Stoneybatter Kombucha.
The restaurant, which opened its doors for the first time today, is located at 56 Manor Place.
Slice is open 7 days a week from 8am.
