Model and actress Rosie Huntington-Whiteley has revealed that she felt "destroyed" by reading about herself on the internet.
The Transformers star explained to Elle magazine why she decided to temporarily shut down her Twitter account.
She said: "I read everything on the internet and I got destroyed by it.
"I panicked. I was unhappy because I was nervous and insecure, so I cut it off. Today I am in a healthier and happier place."
Huntington-Whiteley also said that women should be more supportive of one another, saying: "I like the idea that it's time for women to stop bashing other women.
"Certain things have happened in the last few years that have humbled me and made me less judgemental of other women - particularly other women in my position.
"I'm a real girl's girl and, the older I get, I become more pro women doing what they need to do to achieve their ambitions. We need to celebrate each other more - everybody fails and makes mistakes."
