Angelina Jolie has vowed that the proceeds from a new jewellery line that she's launched in her name will also go towards opening more education centres focused on educating girls in Afghanistan.
Jolie recently opened a school in an area outside of Kabul - an area which traditionally favours the education of males over females.
Speaking to E! News, Jolie said: “Beyond enjoying the artistic satisfaction of designing these jewels, we are inspired by knowing our work is also serving the mutual goal of providing for children in need."
Jolie has designed the collection alongside her designer pal Robert Procop and the pair have spent years on the collaboration.
Procop added: "We launched this collaborative collection with the intent that 100 percent of the profits will go to charity. The intention was to create something beautiful but more importantly to provide children an opportunity to have an education.”
