Zeba recently opened a new salon in Sandymount, so naturally I was dying to try it out. With before and after pics!
Their South William Street salon is one of my favourite spots, and now salon director Angie Dromgoole and her team have expanded to the leafy suburbs of Dublin 4.
I visited the salon for a much-needed refreshing on my hair colour. My balyage was looking tired, so hair colourist Amanda Brady gave it a much-needed overhaul.
My hair colour was leaning towards warm, orange tones, but I wanted to go for a more neutral brunette shade with contrasting blonde dipped ends.
Amanda applied a cool-toned medium brown semi-permanent colour on my roots and mid-lengths, before painting on a lightener at sections of the ends - concentrating on the front layers that frame my face/
She didn't apply any lightener on the top layer of hair, which meant that there were no harsh lines and the overall look was more natural.
Angie finished off my new look with one of the best blowdries I've ever experienced - expertly creating loose waves with body for a casual, undone feel.
