Approaching its 50th anniversary, the American Music Awards (AMAs) have represented the top achievements in music, as determined by the fans, for quite a while now.

Held in the Microsoft Theatre, the starry night always hosts an eye-catching lineup featuring performances from music's biggest names as well as memorable moments that live on in pop culture - who could forget the double denim red carpet moment of Justin Timberlake and Britney Spears?

Last night's awards saw BTS, Doja Cat and Megan Thee Stallion dominate at the awards, bringing home three statues each - click here for more info on the awards.

On the red carpet, there were no trends to be found as the stars each went with their own specific looks for the night.

While Olivia Rodrigo wore Cher-worthy sheer sparkles, and Billy Porter broke all the rules with a gaping jacket and matching umbrella head piece, BTS shone in a series of matching suits and Outer Banks star Madelyn Cline wore a daring piece from Mônot.

Truly though it was host Cardi B that won the night. From a gold mask and talons to haute couture feathers, the Bodak Yellow singer wore a series of eye-catching outfits throughout the night from high fashion designers including Schiparelli, Jean-Louis Sabaji, Miss Sohee and Jean Paul Gautier.
