Today with Maura and Dáithí has seen a bevy of charming co-hosts take the seat while Sinéad Kennedy is on maternity leave, and yesterday saw a new face as Emer O'Neill stepped into the hosting spot.
Viewers might already recognise Emer as one of the many múinteoirí on RTÉs Home School Hub, and her energetic and fun PE sessions no doubt got many households up and about.
Now, she's stepping into new territory as she fills in for Sinéad, alongside other co-hosts Rachel Allen, Bláthnaid Treacy and of course Maura Derrane. And it looks like her slot was a hit, as viewers praised her on Twitter.
Emer was brilliant! Well done ??— Kaya ?? (@justkayathings) May 10, 2021
In an Instagram post shared to her followers, Emer wrote that "Today was a dream come true", adding that Dáithí Ó'Sé "took me under his wing and made sure I had an amazing experience".
"I will NEVER be able to thank you enough."
Referring to the co-hosting job, she wrote "Talk about a bucket list check off. I was surrounded by encouragement and support from the onset and it made it impossible to fail'.
And the mum-of-two dressed to impress, choosing a stunning floral dress for the occasion. Emer looked radiant in a pink, green and purple floral wrap dress from Littlewoods Ireland that featured a feminine ruffled hem and capped sleeves. The bright shades perfectly complemented her complexion and got us itchy to get our own sundresses on!

She added a pair of spring-appropriate nude strappy sandals, which complemented her dress perfectly. She added some glam to the look with jewellery by Julsuluv, a friend of hers, including a delicate light pink precious stone bracelet and matching drop earrings.
Even more glamorous than her look was her hair and makeup, with her long highlighted tresses curled into voluminous waves that fell over her shoulder. She noted that it was her "first time I have ever had my hair dyed in a salon".
Her makeup was fresh and pretty, with plenty of blush and a pink lip adding a pop of colour, while her eyes were defined with lashings of mascara and eyeliner.
