Angela Scanlon brought the glamour to our feeds this week as the presenter dazzled in a feather top, reminding us of the simple elegance of a "nice top with jeans".
It's been a long time since any of us went out on the town or dressed up for drinks, but Scanlon's latest look got us itching for a boogie once it's safe to do so again.

While she's mostly found in jumpers, oversized coats and leggings – like the rest of us these days – when she wants to stun, she never misses. Sharing a snap to Instagram, Scanlon rocked a typically bold and unique outfit, pairing a black feathered top with striking cobalt blue trousers.
"Whipping out the feathers and a bucket of muck for some morning tele", she wrote on Instagram.
The top, featuring a Bardot neckline, thin straps, delicate ostrich and bead embellishments and tufts of black ostrich feathers at the bust, was by Sorcha O'Raghallaigh, one of Ireland's most interesting young designers who has worked with Lady Gaga, Grimes and more.
The ostrich bandeau top also comes in white, and is available for €400 on O'Raghallaigh's site.
There's a renewed focus on Irish designs since the outbreak of Covid-19, and with good reason, so we're delighted to see Scanlon promoting Irish designs. As a fashion lover herself, the rest of her outfit was as considered as she chose a pair of handcrafted trousers to go with her top.

The cobalt blue wide-legged trousers were by Cats Brothers, a fun and edgy knitwear and streetwear label that prioritises slow fashion. Featuring delicate pintucking to create a dramatic silhouette, as well as multicoloured embroidery on the pockets, the trousers added a burst of colour to Scanlon's sleek look.
She finished her look with a smattering of gold jewellery, including a striking pair of textured gold earrings by Beatriz Palacios, a Madrid-based designer, and a few delicate gold rings.
Her hair was worn in her classic loose waves, while her makeup was simple, with a warm-toned eyeshadow and glossy nude lipstick. We especially love her mismatched nail polish in shades of blue and green.
