Working from home outfits have gotten the better of many of us this year. Whether it's convincing yourself you have "nice pyjamas" that could pass for daywear, or donning an overly fussy blouse just to feel something again, knowing how to dress for the workday at home doesn't come naturally to all of us.
Leave it to Kate Middleton, the eternal trendsetter and trend-lover, to lead the way in the WFH fashion stakes. The past few months have seen her adapt her once-staid wardrobe to her new take on public engagements, which has included many, many Zoom calls.
Her effortlessly regal style has never faltered, but we've been loving her more casual looks and her most recent is another hit.
The Duchess appeared in a new video message marking the end of her Hold Still photography exhibition that saw thousands of photos submitted from around the UK, documenting the past few months of life during Covid-19.

"I just wanted to say a huge thank you to everyone who submitted an image to Hold Still," Kate says in the video. "I launched the project with the National Portrait Gallery back in May because I wanted to find a way to allow everyone to share their stories and experiences of lockdown."
One of the portraits in the exhibition was of a nurse, titled 'Melanie, March 2020', and was taken by Johanna Churchill, a colleague of the subjects'. Kate spoke to Johanna and her coworker Dr. Edward Cole in a video call.
Kate chose a charming knitted cardigan that was bang on trend thanks to its sweet collar detail. The baby blue knit – by high street brand Boden, a firm favourite of Kate's – features a high neckline fringed with a delicate scalloped collar in a textured knit.
The collar gave us serious Ruth Bader Ginsberg-meets-Mary Poppins vibes, and was just the kind of piece working from home outfits are all about. The jumper – specifically the Abercorn Scallop Cardigan – costs £75 but is already sold out online in the baby blue shade.
Kate accessorised her look with a pair of festive earrings, the Gold Mistle Kiss Hoop style (£180), which feature curved mistletoe leaves and are a perfect nod to the upcoming holiday season. Her hair was worn in a full and curly blow dry and her makeup was kept natural and fresh as always.
