If there's one thing Kate Middleton knows, it's how to rock a summer dress. The endlessly stylish Duchess of Cambridge always turns heads, but her fashion sense really comes into its own in summer.
With an enviable wardrobe of dresses, we're loving how Kate is styling her pieces in this unusual summer – face masks and all – but we hadn't gotten to see many of her off-duty looks.
Well, Kate hung up the heels for a day as she posted a photo of herself looking chic and casual in a shirt dress and white trainers, while visiting a baby bank earlier this summer.
While on a private visit to Baby Basics, a baby bank in West Norfolk, back in May Kate sported a stunning green shirt dress by Boden, one of the Duchess's favourite brands.
In the photos, only released last night, Kate is seen packing up donations as part of a new initiative she started, getting 19 UK retailers to donate over 10,000 items to baby banks around the UK.
Her look was quintessentially summery: she chose the Boden 'Viola' dress (costing £112, roughly €125) in a delicate green floral pattern, its flowing maxi length and crinkle fabric perfect for warm days.
The shirt dress comes with a matching tie belt, adding shape to the otherwise loose frock, while the high collar and mid-length sleeves keep it looking sharp.
Kate paired her dress with some ever-stylish white Superga trainers (costing €63), and completed her off-duty Duchess look with a sleek black Jet Velvet Padded headband by Lela Sadoughi (€64).
Seeing as this was before hair salons reopened in the UK, Kate's hair is much longer and thicker, and as yet without her summery honey highlights. Always one to make the most of an accessory, she wore her hair pushed back with the headband, looking relaxed and stylish.
