Summer is well and truly on the way, if the Irish stars at last night's Global Awards are to be believed. Mini skirts and tanned legs were the order of the night, as Laura Whitmore, Vogue Williams and more strutted their stuff on the blue carpet at the London event.
The awards celebrate the stars of music, news and entertainment and took place at the Hammersmith Apollo in London.
Fresh from the balmy beaches of South Africa, Laura Whitmore continued her streak of fun and vampy red carpet looks. Wearing a long-sleeved crimson mini dress by Very, featuring all-over red floral cutouts accented with pink, Laura oozed confidence in her 70s-inspired look.
Tying the outfit together was a chic black leather belt to cinch in her waist and vampy black platform heels, making her long legs look even longer.
Her hair was loosely waved and pulled over one shoulder, while a rich scarlet lip made her red dress pop all the more.
Also strutting her stuff was TV presenter and DJ Vogue Williams, who looked cool and sophisticated in a cream leather mini dress, that contrasted beautifully with her deep tan. The button-up dress featured pockets on the bust and near the hips, while Vogue pushed the long sleeves up, adding to the street-style vibe of her outfit.
She added texture to the look by layering gold chains and donning a pair of gold hoops, but we were besotted with her neon peep-toe heels. The pops of yellow, orange, pink, lilac and cornflower blue added a freshness to her safari-style dress and had us longing for summer.
Also on the blue carpet was former Girls Aloud member Nadine Coyle, who dazzled in a bright one-shouldered purple sequined mini dress, with a ruched hem. Wearing her hair in long loose curls, Nadine looked ready for a night on the town.
