Every week, we sit down with stylist Fiona Fagan to find out what Dancing with the Stars hosts Jennifer Zamparelli and Nicky Byrne are wearing on the dancefloor and, more importantly, where we can get the looks for ourselves.

Jen Z and Nicky B had a big night on Dancing with the Stars this week, not only did the hosts roll out the red carpet a night early for this week's show due to Election 2020 coverage, but they helped make Irish TV history by hosting two same-sex couples on the dance floor for Switch-Up Week.

Switching things up in the wardrobe department, Jennifer Zamparelli ditched her usual sparkly dress in favour of a pair of statement trousers. Wearing an Irish design, the presenter looked red hot in a hot pink ensemble which she accessorised with gold hoop earrings (€55.00 in MoMuse).

The 'Pink Sunset Blouse' from Aoife Ireland comes in at €220.00 while the fantastically named 'You Got This Trousers' are €170.00.

"We wanted to support some Irish designers, this one is called Aoife Ireland," explained Fiona Fagan. "They have really beautiful trousers, lovely fabric, really beautiful silk shirts. I wanted to put her in trousers this week because we haven't done it yet and it's Switch-Up Week."

Aoife Ireland is a luxury womenswear brand that strives to incorporate maximum sustainability in each of their garments, something that was particularly important to Jen who recently vowed to give up shopping for 2020.

Taking to Twitter, the 39-year-old revealed last week that she was joining the sustainable fashion movement, vowing to avoid the high-street at all cost:

"I'm posting this for one reason and that is to put positive pressure on myself. I will not buy a stitch of clothing this year. I'm gonna reuse, borrow and stay out of Penny's. If you see me skulking around Zara, you have full permission to slap me."

In keeping with the theme of slow fashion, Jen re-worked an old Solace London mini-dress - which she originally wore in week 10 of 2019 - into a glitzy one-shouldered number for last week's show. According to Fiona Fagan, the move was praised by viewers:

"It got so much positive, positive, positive publicity - it was absolutely amazing. It's funny because when I worked on shows in London, brands would lend pieces all the time but I don't know if as many people were doing that here. Now, more and more, brands seem more willing to lend because we're all thinking about sustainability."

Jen wasn't the only one looking stylish in a suit on tonight's show, in fact, all the judges and hosts opted for trousers; Judge Loraine Barry wore an old Joseph trouser suit that she decided to re-work for the show; Judge Julian opted for a jaw-dropping Claire Garvey design, and Judge Brian Redmond chose a classic navy pinstripe suit from Collar and Cuff.

Elsewhere on the dance floor, Nicky B was looking particularly dapper in a black Benetti suit jacket, Zara tux trousers, and a smart navy shirt.
