This time, I'm jumping right in and bringing you the best facials for brides for every skin concern. Facials can be pricey, so I've personally tried and tested each facial so I can vouch for their effectiveness!  

If you're booking in multiple appointments, the best thing to do is a plan out a schedule for at least 4-6 months before your wedding.

1. Hydradermabrasion, The Skin Clinic, Burgundy Beauty, Blackrock €130

The best facial for reduced redness and fresh, glowing skin. I found makeup went on beautifully the following day.

What is it?

Hydradermabrasion works with one lightweight applicator that uses a tri-modality dermal system consisting of a vacuum, a 360-degree rotating tip, and two jet streams. Following the hydra dermabrasion, a suitable additive infusion with LED light finishes the treatment.

How long do results last?

1-2 weeks

Start at least 6 months before wedding and book in 3/4 facials spaced 4-6 weeks apart. 

2. Dermalogica Spa Custom Facial, Buff Day Spa, Dublin 2 €90

I found this the best facial for relieving congested skin. The therapist did a thorough extraction which vastly improved my skin texture. 

What is it?

This facial is completely customised. It begins with a double cleanse while the therapist asks questions about your skin. The next step is a complete Dermalogica face mapping skin analysis which gives your therapist a chance to have a good look at your skin and decide on how to give you the best facial possible.

Depending on your skin concerns you may receive a variety of treatments. This can include extractions, exfoliation and a customised face masques depending on your needs. 

How long do results last?

1-2 weeks

When should I get it?

Try one 6 months before your wedding and see how your skin reacts. You will need at least 3 to see long-lasting results. Leave at least one month between your last facial and your big day.

3. Hydralift and Pellevé Eye, Beacon Face and Dermatology Clinic, Sandyford €150

The best facial combination for overall hydration and targeting the delicate eye area. Dr. Clodagh O'Shea provided my facial and gave me lots of helpful tips and advice for prepping my skin for my wedding.

Treatment 1 - Hydrafacial 

What is it?
