Sole sister
Shoe brand Office has just welcomed a little sister to the family – O by Office. This selection takes its cue from what's trending so it features killer heels in fluoro snake print, transparent plastic straps, and mesh-covered block-heeled mules. From flats climbing all the way to sandals, however, everything comes in at a lower price point than the main collection, a nice plus when you're just trying out a new trend. I particularly like the nod to the wild of these animal print pieces.

Bigger is better
I have always believed that there is no drab ensemble that large statement earrings can't instantly lift. Lately, I have sated my appetite for bold adornments at blondthestore.com, an Irish-owned company offering costume jewellery from around the world. The resin and perspex earrings are particularly joyful in both shape and colour, and are conversation-starters to be sure. The collection starts at just €15.

Check, please
Tailored suits in co-ordinated prints are a big story right now, and our eye was drawn to this pairing from boohoo.com's new season offering. The large picnic print check of this boyfriend blazer (€48) and wide-leg trouser (€35) duo works so well with the relaxed silhouette. The belt on the jacket is actually taken from the waistband of the trousers and can be styled to cinch in the waist even further (as pictured). Separately, wear the trousers with a tucked in white T-shirt and chunky trainers, or wear the jacket open and loose with jeans.

Handkerchief hem skirt, €4, Lipsy

The silk road
The handkerchief hemline crept back into fashion last spring, and this season we're seeing it return to its full early-noughties glory in multi-coloured silk scarf print. Embrace the trend with skirt, top or dress, or if you'd prefer to merely nod at the silk scarf trend, make it a bright addition to your denims.
