Britain's most valuable race meeting is underway and the style at Royal Ascot 2018 is as magnificent as ever.
Meghan Markle made her debut at the races on Tuesday, her first Royal Ascot as a member of the Royal Family.
The Duchess of Sussex wore an off-white Givenchy dress with a black-and-white hat to match.
Meghan’s headpiece was designed by Philip Treacy, and her dress was from the house of Givenchy, which also designed her royal wedding dress.
This week has become Britain's most popular race meeting, welcoming around 300,000 visitors over five days, all dressed up in their finest clothes and hats.
The annual horse-racing event requires quite the strict dress code, including asking all ladies to cover their shoulders and wear hats and name tags.
In 2017, Royal Ascot successfully welcomed the jumpsuit as an acceptable item of clothing for the Royal Enclosure.
This year, the dress code was changed again now requires gentlemen to wear socks! Hilarious.
It also details specific necklines as acceptable, or not, across all areas.
Each day of the week begins with the Royal Procession when the Queen and accompanying members of the Royal Family arrive along the track in horse-drawn landaus. They then spend the day watching the races from the Royal Enclosure.
