We spoke to Dancing with the Stars competitor Denise McCormack to chat about dressing up for the show and dressing down at home.

The Red Rock actress told RTÉ LifeStyle's Soraiya Ryan that as an actor she finds costumes to be an integral part of her performance and the Dancing with the Stars glam squad have been an amazing support during her time on the show.

"Because I'm an actor I...costume is very, very, important and you know, if I step into something, I kind of want to feel who she is so I do have a lot of input. Monica Ennis who puts all the costumes together is amazing."

Whether it's the glitz and glam of the DWTS wardrobe or the charity shop bargain in town, Denise says she loves to experiment with her clothes.

"My Mum was a dress maker and I do a bit of, kind of, altering things myself. I love a bit of charity shop[ping]. I love getting a charity shop bit and mixing and matching it with something else."
