This month, Brown Thomas is celebrating all things makeup with their Art of Beauty event featuring bespoke masterclasses with Ireland's top make-up artists and showcasing the world's best beauty brands. The store's own in-house beauty guru Aiden Corcoran explained more about the event:

"We have so many tricks and treats for everybody involved and we're doing masterclasses up here the entire time".

We met with Charlotte Tilbury make-up artist Kelly Mitchell, MAC make-up artist Lesley Keane, Bobbi Brown make-up artist Mandi Daly to get their top beauty tips for Irish ladies.

MAC's senior makeup artist Lesley Kane, featured in the video below, is a red-carpet pro who has worked with some of Hollywood's finest for many glamorous award shows.

She told RTÉ LifeStyle's Soraiya Ryan that for Irish women, it's all about bronzing and bold lips.

"Women want to bronze but they want to do it naturally so I always say about going through the outer perimeters of the face and almost leaving a spotlight paler shade on the inside"

Charlotte Tilbury make-up artist Kelly Mitchell, below, says that although women are busier than ever these days, we should take five minutes for ourselves each and every day to make ourselves feel beautiful.

"Take a few minutes and make yourself look and feel amazing with a little bit of makeup magic"

Bobbi Brown make-up artist Mandi Daly, in the video interview below, says that we Irish ladies need to take better care of our skin with a good SPF.

"Spend money on your skin care products. Really importantly; drink lots of water, use an SPF.

"We have that pale complexion so it's really important to protect because we can damage the skin and that can cause a lot of problems down the line."

The Art of Beauty will be taking places across Brown Thomas stores until, and including Mother's Day, Sunday, March 26th 2017.
