The latest incarnation of the Multi Active skincare range, which is aimed towards thirtysomethings, has been reformulated to battle busy lifestyles, stress and lack of sleep. Yup, that's sounding pretty familiar alright.

The Day Cream (€57) comes in four formulations - cream for all skin types, cream for dry skin, cream gel for normal to combination skin, cream SPF20 for all skin types and lotion SPF15 for all skin types - while the Night Cream (€60) comes in two formulations for normal to combination skin and dry skin.

I tried the cream gel day cream and night cream for normal to combination skin and they've been really impressing. The textures of both products are seriously gorgeous - moisturising and soothing without being in any way heavy, and they sink into skin leaving it looking and feeling nourished. A big thumbs up from me.

Coming on counter soon is the Self Tanning Milky Lotion for Face and Body (€28). I was already a huge fan of the Clarins Radiance-Plus Golden Glow Booster for Body (€36) - a gradual tanner which you add to your moisturiser - so I was delighted to see this product being made by the brand.

The lotion is gorgeously nourishing and smells yummy, and sinks in quickly without any stickiness. After one application, I observed a very nice, natural and even tan which lasted really well without getting patchy. I did notice a faint whiff of the fake tan smell which puts me off using tanning products very often - but it's not overpowering so I will definitely be using this lotion with abandon all summer!

The Clarins Self Tanning Milky Lotion is available from Brown Thomas exclusively from March 10 and at counters nationwide from March 28 while the Multi Active range is on counter now.
