The actress will be the first celebrity to front a campaign for the luxury Italian brand that has only ever used models in the past.

Chairman Luigi Maramotti told Women’s Wear Daily that Jennifer was the perfect choice because she “is a real woman, not a cover girl, not a starlet, and she has different interests, a family and values.”

In a picture on the Women’s Wear Daily website, the mother of three can be seen lying on the floor in a camel coloured coat and nude heells holding a brown leather bag with a long strong strap and small handle.

The 41-year-old wife of Ben Affleck has been spotted in the past wearing a similar Max Mara coat.

There are five different images in the new campaign, three for autumn and two for spring which will break in magazines like Elle and Vogue in September.

Jennifer has been linked to the label since April when rumours first sparked that she had been photographed by them for a new campaign.

This will be the first time the star has ever fronted a fashion brand.
