Like Barbie, the way the actresses and models appear is a figment of a graphic designer's imagination -- they are seldom untouched photographs.

British Vogue reports that supermodel Gisele, 32, has now spoken out in favor of a more natural look in photographs.

She recently appeared in a campaign for BLK DNM where she worked closely with the brand’s creative director, Johan Lindeberg. She went without make-up or hair styling for the campaign, and the shoot took just two hours.

"I loved his approach because I feel like women should be really real and raw and it doesn't really happen anymore [in fashion photographs],” Bündchen said."I love that feeling of, you know, we are women - we are so different. Our imperfections are what makes us unique and beautiful.

“He gets that. He's not trying to retouch you or put a pretty light on you. He's not like, 'You've got to look a certain way.' He's like, 'You are you.' Look, I just love the way he [Lindeberg] sees women,” she told Fashionista.

“I think he dresses them really well. He’s very real, he’s very authentic.”
