Activity

Let's play a game called "Mystery Artefact".  You need at least two people to play this game, but the more people the better!

1) Find a small box (a shoe box works well if you have one).

2) Put an artefact in the box, but make sure not to let anyone else see it!

3) Close the lid.

4) Everyone else gets to ask one question in turn, to try to guess what the mystery artefact is.  You can only answer "yes" or "no" to each question, and you must tell the truth!

5) The most questions that can be asked are twenty.  After that, if nobody guesses the right answer, you reveal what’s in the box!

Play again, this time with someone else hiding an artefact in the box.

April Fools' Day Prank:  Here’s a prank you can do using an electronic artefact!  Tape a bit of paper over the sensor on the television before your siblings or parents sit down to watch TV and watch as they freak out when they can't change the channel!

Send us pictures or videos of what you have done. Ask your parents to help you send them to rte.ie/learn
