Liam Ó Maonlaí will be joined by tin-whistle legend Mary Bergin and box player and singer Conor Connolly for music and conversation. Mary Bergin is originally from Dublin, but has lived in Connemara for many years now. She brought out her first solo album, Feadóga Stáin, in 1979, and the second solo album Feadóga Stáin 2 in 1993. She is a member of the group Dordán, and has also played with many musicians and groups over the course of her very long and successful musical career, including Dé Danann and Ceoltóirí Laighean. She was named Musician of the Year by TG4 in 2000. Conor Connolly is a young box player and singer from Co. Galway. He was awarded the TG4 Ceoltóir Óg na Bliana, Young Musician of the Year, in 2019. They join Liam this evening for some great music and a chat.
