Reáchtálann Johnston na hoícheanta sin go fóill, agus an bhunaidhm chéanna leo, an ceol a choinneáil breá réidh, gan a dhul os cionn 122 buille sa nóiméad.Déantar iarracht na damhsóirí a mhealladh le rithimí malla, agus iad a chur faoi gheasa ag leithéidí ceirníní Kosmiche, dioscó spéiriúil agus ceol house cosmach, agus tuilleadh nach iad.Tá Cian ag fáiltiú roimh mholtaí ó na héisteoirí don rogha ceoil don chlár speisialta seo anocht.Cuir chuige iad ar na meáin shóisialta, nó att@rte.ie

Andrew Weatherall

Tonight, on the second anniversary of the death of DJ, producer and acid house icon Andrew Weatherall, Cian Ó Cíobháin will be spinning records from his seminal 'A Love From Outer Space' parties, which he hosted with his dear friend and fellow sonic adventurer Sean Johnston from 2010 right up to his death. The parties were and are – for Sean continues to host ALFOS nights – based around their mission to "never knowingly exceed 122BPMs" (beats per minute).ALFOS parties are transcendental occasions. Eyes closed, the slower rhythm enticing dancers to lock into a hypnotic groove, incorporating everything from Kosmiche to cosmic disco, from dubby post-punk to spaced-out house.

If you have suggestions of favourite records from those nights, let Cian know through his social media platforms or att@rte.ie
