Sculptor Aidan Harte spoke to folklorist Jonny Dillon on the National Folklore Collection's podcast, Blúiríní Béaloidis about his Púca of Ennistymon which caused much controversy when the mould was unveiled.

Described as a 'figure of chaos' in Irish folklore, the púca of Ennistymon became controversial for many reasons, as the artist describes. 'Art can be an exploration', Harte says and his púca successfully illustrated elements of the grotesque which characterised the púca in Irish culture.
