Rónán Mac Aodha Bhuí brings us a selection of clips from the award-winning Rónán Beo programme in this summer series.Today, he brings us clips from a programme broadcast live from the Celtic Connections festival in Glasgow in January 2012.Contributors will include Maighréad Bean Mhic Ruairí, from Rann na Feirste and Baile Ghib, Hughie Boyle from Dobhar in Gaoth Dobhair who went to Scotland when he was just 14, John Tim Ó Baoill from Bun an Inbhir, who went over in 1950 at just 16, and his friend Jimmy Mac Fhionnghaile from An Ghlaisigh who was born there.We’ll hear from Erin Nic Ruairí, a young girl who’s being brought up with Gaelic over there, as well as Ann Cissie Nic Eamharcaigh, Hiúdaí Mór Ó Fearraigh and James Phat Ó Gallchóir.We’ll also hear some fantastic music from Salsa Celtica, Blue Moose and the Unbuttoned Zippers, Sultans of String, Michael Mc Goldrick, Gerry O’Connor, Tony Byrne, Ana Massi and Mairéad Green.
