This week on Coronation Street, when he finding out that Duncan is critically ill in hospital, Tim admits to Sophie that after he gave chase, Duncan was hit by a van and he left him for dead.

When Sophie goes to the hospital she is shocked to find May. Pretending she is a neighbour, Sophie tells May that Duncan has been moved to another hospital and offers to drive here there.

She takes a photo and tells Tim that she has May in the car, saying she can be their bargaining chip.

Tim goes to the hospital and shows Duncan the picture of May and suggests that from now on Duncan should do what he's told. How will Duncan react?

Daniel worries about Sinead as she gives birth to their son

Elsewhere, the oncologist breaks the news and Sinead and Daniel that her cancer has spread and she needs radiotherapy immediately so they must deliver the baby today.

Sinead gives birth to a baby boy. But after the baby is taken away to the neonatal unit, Sinead passes out, leaving Daniel distraught.

The doctor tells Daniel he needs to examine the baby. Later, he takes Daniel aside and breaks the news that their son has a bowel condition. When Sinead asks how he's doing, Daniel doesn't tell her the truth. 

When Nick gives Leanne a lavish gift - a diamond necklace - Leanne posts a selfie of herself wearing it online. Elsa confronts Nick and tells him the divorce is on hold as he clearly has more money than he lets on.

Nick gets a shock when he sees Natalie, a waitress from the Nottingham restaurant, on the street. Leanne approaches, demanding to know what's going on, and Nick pretends Natalie is his divorce solicitor.

Will Leanne see through the lie?

And Steve and Tracy admit neither of them really wants a baby.
