The full shortlist for RTÉ's Poem for Ireland project has been announced. Check out the ten poems in competition to be named Ireland's favourite poem.
The full shortlist was unveiled on The Works on RTÉ One this evening (January 30) and the winner of RTÉ's Poem for Ireland will be revealed after a public vote on March 13.

The Jury for the Poem for Ireland is chaired by broadcaster John Kelly and includes Catriona Crowe of the National Archives of Ireland, singer Damien Dempsey and former teacher, librarian and news reader Anne Doyle
The public voting deadline is Sunday, March 8 and the poem with the most votes will be revealed on Friday, March 13. You can vote at rte.ie/apoemforireland or by Freepost to A Poem For Ireland, PO Box 12575, Freepost F5087, Dublin 4.
