A charity collection in aid of the Prince's Trust in the UK, 'The Celebrity Cookbook' asks people from TV, sport, business, the kitchen, the catwalk and elsewhere to reveal their role models, and what they would cook for them if they arrived on their doorstep. The responses range from grannies and granddads and mums and dads to Nelson Mandela, Barack Obama, teachers and peers, with hand-me-downs, exotic treats and the best of comfort food on the menus.
There are small starter (six) and dessert (seven) sections, and 55 mains where Richard E Grant, Amanda Holden, David Jason, Lorraine Kelly, William Roache, Carol Smilie, Arnold Schwarzenegger and others offer ideas for every occasion - whether that's in front of the telly for your favourite show, a family roast or a dinner party for eight. Special mention must go to 'Love Actually's Bill Nighy for Fèves au Lard Sur Toast avec Marmite Sous (think about it) and 'Dancing on Ice's Hayley Tamaddon for testing the New Year's resolutions with her Chocolate Cake.
Thankfully, there are healthy options too, because after reading this (or looking at the pictures) a trip to the fridge is highly likely.
