Fair City drops a familial bombshell in Sunday's episode on RTÉ One and the RTÉ Player.
Just as Joan thinks she's building bridges with her long-lost son Gar, a woman arrives at the gym.
"Are you the owner?" she asks curtly.
"No, my son is," smiles Joan as Gar emerges from the office.
"Ma?" says Gar.
Both women answer: "Yeah?"
