Blake Lively is to make her feature directorial debut with Seconds, an adaptation of Scott Pilgrim creator Bryan Lee O'Malley's graphic novel of the same name.

Entertainment trade publication the Hollywood Reporter, which broke the story, says writer-director Edgar Wright, who brought O'Malley's work to the big screen in 2010 cult favourite Scott Pilgrim vs the World, has written the script for Seconds and is among the producers.

Seconds follows Katie Clay, "who receives the power to fix her past mistakes via writing them down in a notebook, eating a mushroom and falling asleep".

However, her newfound power creates more problems than it fixes.

Last year, Gossip Girl star Lively made her directorial debut with the acclaimed promo video for Taylor Swift's I Bet You Think About Me.
