"The music video, filmed by Chris McCann and directed by John Dynes and Chris McCann, presents a glimpse into that story - the good times I had with her in the beginning, to its violent turn.

"The lyrics speak of the struggle I had to feel like myself again, and how all my attempts to push away all the little details and memories of that time felt futile."

Tell us three things about yourself?

I have two very cute kittens called Pudge and Levi, I'm a barista/supervisor outside of music, and I'm mildly addicted to buying plants despite never being able to keep them alive.

How would you describe your music?

My music is a mix between indie pop and alternative. But it's all in the lyrics for me. I always say my song-writing is pretty much like keeping a diary.

Who are your musical inspirations?

My inspirations vary quite a bit. I have been a massive fan of Muse and Jeff Buckley since I was a kid, but I also turn to the likes of Alanis Morissette, Taylor Swift, and Tegan & Sara when it comes to lyrics.

What are you most looking forward to post-lockdown?

Taking my little sister out to see me play a live show. She'll love it.

What’s your favourite song right now?

American Money by Børns. His Dopamine album is class from start to finish.

Favourite lyric of all time?

"There is a crack, a crack in everything. That's how the light gets in" - Anthem, Leonard Cohen.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life what would it be?

Starlight - Muse.
