The Sei are Stace Gill and Maria Nilsson Waller, along with producer Ross Dowling (Talos, James Vincent McMorrow) and Let It All Go follows their debut releases Metroma (which featured on Normal People), Sentient, and debut EP Lumen.

Gill says, "Let It All Go is my response and my lesson; my longing and listening for how to pass through a lifetime as a soft dreaming human, heartbroken, letting everything go and learning love on a speck of rock firing through space."

Let It All Go will be premiered by Dance Ireland via zoom on Thursday, April 8th at 12.00pm. Register here or here.

Tell us three things about yourself?

Maria: I taught myself how to play the banjo thanks to the Ilac Centre library in Dublin.

Stace: In 2017 I spent about six months making a collection of subconscious beats that I called "George Michael".  In November of that year Maria invited me to compose on a dance residency at Dance Ireland, "George Michael" became the roots of the first Flora Fauna Project Dance production in Sweden and Ireland. The original title was "George Michael in the 80s (and a little bit in the 90s)."

Both: All our music videos are dance videos, even the animation for Sentient by artist Matt Griffin.  The robot and the human in this are loosely based on us.
