Speaking about their new song, Murphy says. "We live in a time where anxiety and despair are increasingly commonplace but also a time where there is greater openness about mental health issues and where hope exists through communal support.

"A song for today's world, I hope listening to Sunshine In My Brain has a cathartic effect against the challenges that we all face whether ongoing or from time to time."

Tell us three things about yourself?

I was born in Zambia and spent my early childhood there, I worked as an actuary in the Irish insurance industry for over 20 years and in 2014, I began a full time musical career when I went back to college as a mature student to study commercial modern music. I also have high hopes.

How would you describe your music?

We are an indie folk-rock band. Our songs are very melodic and have a contemporary yet classic feel to them.

Who are your musical inspirations?

Our influences range from 70s artists such as Neil Young and Tom Petty through to the likes of R.E.M. and more recently Big Thief.

How did you occupy yourself during the coronavirus lockdown?

I focused a lot on writing new material for the band. We were fortunate to get into Orphan Recording studios with producer Gavin to record an album’s worth of songs when restrictions were minimal last year. We’ll be releasing a few new singles in the first half of this year and our second album in the Autumn.

What’s your favourite song right now?

I love Joanne by Lady Gaga. It’s a beautiful song about her aunt with very poignant lyrics. It’s got a folk country rock vibe to it, which is right up my street, and Lady Gaga’s vocals are so powerful.

Favourite lyric of all time?

"If I needed you would you come to me? Would you come to me and ease my pain? If you needed me I would come to you, I would swim the seas for to ease your pain" - If I Needed You by Townes Van Zandt.

If you could only listen to one song for the rest of your life what would it be?

I Can See Clearly Now by Johnny Nash.
