Judd Apatow, director of The 40-Year-Old Virgin and Knocked Up, has teamed up with Saturday Night Live regular Pete Davidson for The King of Staten Island, a semi-autobiographical movie about Davidson's life growing up in New York.

It’s an anarchic, funny-serious blast, which combines the best of Apatow’s talent for storytelling and Davidson’s sometimes painfully honest humour.

We spoke to the pair via Zoom about their new movie, which is available to stream from this Friday.
