Liam Gallagher has declared that his long dreamed of Oasis reunion is happening "with or without Noel", adding that "it will blow your knickers off".

The younger Gallagher brother has stepped up to his efforts to see the band reform in recent weeks in light of the Covid-19 outbreak and has vowed to donate all funds raised from a charity gig to the NHS as they battle the pandemic.

On Thursday night, Liam, who has launched a successful solo career, took to Twitter to "clear up a few things, saying, "It may not be the same, but trust me, it'll blow your knickers off," he said.

Asked if former band members Alan White and Gem Archer, would be involved, hereplied, "I'll be asking the old boys I’m sure Rkid won’t let the new chaps."

Original Oasis member Paul 'Bonehead' Arthurs hinted that he may be involved.

The warring Gallagher brothers have not seen or spoken to each other since 2009 when a backstage row at an Oasis gig in Paris saw Noel walk out of the band.

The older brother has so far not commented on Liam’s calls for a reunion but fans are urging him to put aside his differences with his sibling for a charity show.
