Kellye Nakahara, who played Nurse Kellye for the entire run of Korean War-inspired comedy M*A*S*H, has died aged 72 after a battle with cancer.

M*A*S*H - Mobile Army Surgical Hospital - aired from 1972 to 1983.

Kellye, who was born in Hawaii, moved to San Francisco to become an artist but got snapped up as an actress. 

She passed away at her home in Pasadena, California after a short battle with cancer and is survived by her husband David Wallett, two children, and two grandchildren.
