EastEnders star Rudolph Walker has said he is relishing taking part in this year's charity Strictly Come Dancing for BBC Children in Need, adding "at 80-years-old, it's probably best I don't try to do the splits".

Walker, who plays loveable rogue Patrick Trueman in the BBC soap, will join EastEnders co-stars Ricky Champ (Stuart Highway), Louisa Lytton (Ruby Allen) and Maisie Smith (Tiffany Butcher) on the dancefloor as they try to win the Pudsey Glitterball on BBC Children in Need on BBC One on Friday, November 15.
