Olly Murs is reported to be about to sign up as a judge on The Voice and that's really annoying his former X Factor mentor Simon Cowell.

The pop star is said to be replacing Gavin Rosedale on the ITV singing contest and joining judges Tom Jones, Will.i.am, and Jennifer Hudson.

Olly, who previously presented The X Factor alongside Caroline Flack, is said to have got on the wrong side of show boss Simon with his plans.

A source told The Sun: "It’s a huge coup for The Voice to have Olly on board.

"He’s got talent show experience, comedic charm and a huge fanbase. His personality will shine through as a coach.

"It won’t be like when he presented X Factor when he had to remain impartial."

Murs left The X Factor in 2015 and claimed he wanted to concentrate more on his music, so Simon Cowell may be entitled to raise an eyebrow if he's joining The Voice.
