Beyonce and Pharrell Williams triumphed at last night's (June 29) BET Awards.

Beyonce was named Best Female R&B/Pop Artists, as well as Best Collaboration with Jay Z for their track Drunk in Love.

Pharrell Williams took home the gongs for Best Male R&B/Pop Artist and Video of the Year for Happy.

The musician and producer opened the ceremony with his new single Come Get It Bae with Missy Elliot.

Meanwhile, 12 Years a Slave was honoured with the Best Movie Award, as well as Best Actor for Chiwetel Ejiofor and Best Actress for Lupita Nyong'o.

The Best Male and Female Hip Hop Artist awards were given to Drake and Missy Elliot.
