Fans of Sophie Kinsella’s Shopaholic series will welcome a new addition, entitled Shopaholic to the Stars, due this autumn.

Becky Brandon (née Bloomwood) and her daughter, Minnie, have joined husband Luke in LA.

Luke is there to help manage the career of famous actress Sage Seymour. Becky is convinced she is destined to be Sage’s personal stylist, and go from there to working with every A-list celebrity in Hollywood.

However, things become complicated when Becky joins the team of Sage’s arch-rival without telling Luke. Will her ambition to make it in Hollywood cost too much? That's pretty much the plot of the new one, due in the autumn.

Sophie Kinsella raced into the UK best-seller lists in September 2000 with her first novel in the Shopaholic series, The Secret Dreamworld of a Shopaholic (also published as Confessions of a Shopaholic).

The book’s heroine, Becky Bloomwood, a feisty financial journalist captured the hearts of readers worldwide and she has since featured in five further adventures. Becky came to the big screen in 2009 with the hit Disney movie, Confessions of a Shopaholic.

The best-selling novelist was born in London, studied music at New College, Oxford, but after a year switched to Politics, Philosophy and Economics. She now lives in London, UK, with her husband and family.
