Cork band ECHOGRAM are set to be the featured artist on this week's episode of MTV reality show The Real World.

The track Weakness will play over one of the pivotal scenes in the show, set to air Wednesday night on US television.

ECHOGRAM frontman Kilian Pettit said "This is a massive step forward for me and my music. Great timing too with the album release at the end of the month".

ECHOGRAM have spent a lot of time going back and forth to the States over the last five years. Their debut album was recorded in Cypress Hill's LA studio and mixed by Grammy nominee Sean Beavan, known for his work with Nine Inch Nails amongst others. In 2011 the video Conspiracy won an IMTV award.

"It's been an exciting journey to date, hopefully this kind of TV exposure will take things up to the next level".

The track Weakness has been made available as a free download to coincide with the broadcast.

ECHOGRAM's debut album will be available on iTunes from March 24th.
