Lottie Ryan, daughter of the late Gerry Ryan, will present the first edition of The Early, Early Breakfast Show tomorrow morning at 6am on 2fm.

This will be Lottie's first ever show for the station. The Early, Early Breakfast Show also airs on Sunday mornings at 6am.

A graudate of Griffith College Dublin with a B.A in Journalism, she has previously hosted TV Shows and MC-ed at events.

Lottie was the showbiz reporter on The Colm Hayes Show and also reported for RTÉ’s live afternoon show The Daily Show from 2010 to 2012.

Commenting on her new role, she said: “I’m thrilled to be getting my own show and joining the new schedule. It’s very exciting times ahead as 2fm evolves and I’m delighted to be a part of the team.

"Whether you’re an early riser or only coming in from the night before – this will be the station you’ll want to listen to early mornings.”

Head of 2fm, Dan Healy said: “Lottie is someone who has contributed to the Colm Hayes Show for the past three years. She has a strong and colourful personality . . . it’s not off the ground she licked that!

"And for this reason we feel she is ready to fly solo. 2fm are using off-peak programming to develop the next generation of radio personalities.”

2fm will be making further announcements on the new schedule in the near future, follow them @rte2fm, facebook/2fmofficial and www.rte.ie/2fm.
