The play Lambo is a fictionalised account of a story that stormed the airwaves and shocked the country – the story of the late Gerry Ryan and the notorious lamb!

Lambo is tonight’s Drama on One play on RTÉ Radio 1 and making its radio debut, following successful runs on stage across the country following an appearance at the Dublin Fringe Festival, aims to entertain listeners nationwide at 8pm.

Directed by Ronan Phelan, tune in to hear Michael Ford enact Hugh Travers' account of how the 2fm presenter became embroiled in a tale of brutality and bloodshed, the story of how one little lamb supposedly came to a grisly end...

Now before animal lovers move to complain, tune in to hear what really happened.
