The highly-anticipated Entourage movie has begun shooting, new photos posted by cast members have revealed.

Last month is was announced that the big-screen continuation of the popular HBO series would begin filming in January, seeing the return of its stars Adrian Grenier, Jeremy Piven, Kevin Connolly, Kevin Dillon and Jerry Ferrara.

Ferrera, who plays Turtle on the show, uploaded a photo of the cast reunited on the set on Friday (January 17).

Production on the Entourage film was delayed for several years due to issues with striking deals with all of the actors, with executive producer Mark Wahlberg commenting that they were "greedy" during their contract negotiations.

Entourage ran for eight seasons between 2004 and 2001.

A release date for the movie has not yet been scheduled.
