Actor and comedian Pat Shortt will join Ryan Tubridy on The Late Late Show as will Bridget Jones creator Helen Fielding.

Much-loved Garage star Shortt will no doubt talk on tonight's show about his new one-man comedy show I am the Band as well as a number of upcoming acting roles.

Novelist, screenwriter and Bridget Jones creator Fielding will discuss the return of the heroine with her recent book Mad About the Boy and the upset caused by the Mr Darcy storyline.

And that's not all: Champion jockey Tony McCoy will be in studio to talk about his recent 4,000th winning race.

Plus The Red Rose Café and The Green Fields of France singer Finbar Furey who was crowned as the winner of RTÉ One and 2fm's The Hit Finbar Furey will perform on the show.
