A new nationwide TV project from RTÉ, called Life's Like This, is looking for submissions from teenagers.

This documentary project aimed at 13-19 year olds is about a moment in your day on Friday September 20.

If you want to take part on September 20, film roughly two minutes of your life on that date, using your phone, camera, or whatever technology you can get your hands on.

In the short video, show the world what you're doing, feeling or seeing on that particular day, whether you're hanging out with friends, enjoying your favourite hobby, celebrating a birthday, facing an important decision or just chilling out.

It doesn't matter what it is, where you are or what you do, just film it and send it in - as long as it's filmed on Friday September 20.

If you make music, send that too for the documentary's soundtrack. The video clips will be edited together for a unique documentary to be broadcast on RTÉ Two this autumn.

The Technical Stuff

Contributions can be filmed on a smart-phone, an iPhone, a video camera, anything. Anyone who owns a recording device can be part of Life’s Like This. Your clips can then be simply uploaded on the RTÉ Young Peoples dedicated website. An easy to follow step by step guide on the RTÉ Young Peoples’ website at www.rte.ie/trte/lifeslikethis will show you how to upload your material and tell you everything you need to know about how to take part.

These video snapshots will be compiled into a documentary that will be screened on RTÉ Two television in November, bringing to life the experiences, thoughts and feelings of young people across Ireland.

Friday September 20 is your day and your chance to tell the nation who you are and what your life is like.

Filming Date: Friday 20th September

Upload Deadline Date: Midnight Monday 23rd September
