Take That's Mark Owen will play Dublin's Olympia Theatre this June in support of the release of his new album, The Art of Doing Nothing.
The album is Owen's fourth and his first since Take That's reunion in 2006. It follows a pretty traumatic period in 41-year-old Owen's life in which he struggled with marital problems, admitted to a drink problem and spent a peroid in rehab.
Owen began recording the new album when Take That finished their Progress tour in 2011 and agreed to take a year-long break. "I’ve been making songs for 20 years now and I don’t really know what else to do," Owen says of the making of The Art of Doing Nothing.
On the new album, he duets with chanteuse Ren Harvieu and London rapper Jake Emlyn.
Tickets for his show on June 19th including booking fee are priced from €29.50 and go on general sale at all Ticketmaster outlets and www.ticketmaster.ie May 10th at 9.00am.
