Everyone's favourite dysfunctional family the Bluths return for a fourth season of Arrested Development this May.
The new season of the cult US show will be screened exclusively by on demand internet television service Netflix with all of the new fifteen episodes becoming avialable for viewing on May 26th.
Arrested Development centres on Michael Bluth (Jason Bateman) and his eccentric family which is comprised of his son George Michael (Michael Cera), his father George Bluth Sr. (Jeffrey Tambor), his mother Lucille (Jessica Walter), his brothers George Oscar Bluth II (Will Arnett), Buster Bluth (Tony Hale) and sister Lindsay Fünke (Portia de Rossi), and Lindsay’s husband Tobias (David Cross) and their daughter Maeby (Alia Shawkat).
Series creator and producer Mitch Hurwitz was modest about the new deal with Netflix: "Finally my simple wish for the show is coming true: that it be broadcast every second around the clock to every television, computer or mobile device in existence."
Netflix, which has more than 33 million members in 40 countries, is also due to screen Eli Roth's new murder mystery Hemlock Grove, Jenji Kohan’s forthcoming series Orange is the New Black and the second season of Lilyhammer, which stars Steven Van Zandt.
