Coronation Street actress Georgia May Foote has said she hopes her character, Katy, becomes more of a wild child and "goes off the rails".
"I don't know if Katy will get any naughtier," Foote told The Sun. "But I hope she does. I'd love her to get really feisty and be a wild child and go off the rails. Any extreme you get to play is always fun".
The 22 year-old actress plays teen mum Katy Armstrong on the cobbles and says "It's nice to see the sexy side of Katy, to see her dressed up and going out to have fun. It's strange being sexy because I've never really done anything like this".
In recent months, viewers have watched as Katy embarked upon a whirlwind affair with Ryan (Sol Heras) and accept an engagement proposal from boyfriend Chesney (Sam Aston).
Katy has come in to her own, Georgia explains, "I've grown up. I feel like I'm finally a woman and it's nice to let rip and show that off. Before, Katy was stuck between being a schoolgirl and a mum and it's nice to have made the jump".
"I feel like she's caught up with me" Foote adds, who recently got engaged to her long-term boyfriend.
