It has been announced that Gary Oldman is joining Tom Hardy and Noomi Rapace in Child 44.
The film is a Soviet-era thriller which is being directed by Daniel Espinosa and produced by Ridley Scott, says The Hollywood Reporter.
The film follows a member of the military police investigating child murders who finds himself the target of his government’s suspicions. Hardy takes the lead role of the police officer.
Oldman is lined up to place the police chief. The film script has been adapted from a Tom Rob Smith novel.
It is expected that the film will start shooting this June.
